Preschool workshops build early literacy skills

Children from birth to age six will wiggle, jump, play with clay, learn about Bollywood and more during preschool programs this fall. Six different programs for preschoolers will travel to branches around the city to engage children in early literacy activities. The programs engage children in reading, writing, talking, singing and playing – the five building blocks of early literacy – while also exposing them to arts, healthy movement and different cultures.
