Library expands health programming

The Library is expanding its offerings of health and exercise programs! The Healthy Body, Healthy Mind programs focus on educating patrons about nutrition and Medicaid as well as demonstrating exercises such as chair yoga. Many of the exercises are especially popular with seniors looking to stay healthy and active as they age.
Patrons who attended shared the following feedback:
- “It answered many questions I have about Medicaid.”
- “Chair aerobics is absolutely mandatory for seniors. This program is fun, social, and maintains our balance and mobility.”
- “The program makes me feel happy and makes the world look more beautiful, peaceful place.”
